Get stuff done by posting gigs.
Life can get a little busy sometimes. Balancing work, family, friends, and household obligations can make that to-do list feel pretty overwhelming. We’ve experienced it too, and that’s why we created GigStop.com.
With GigStop.com you can post gigs to our site and find help with almost any home improvement project, household chore, yard and landscaping need, and even running errands.
Pick the Service Provider you like best.
Once your gig is posted to GigStop.com our network of local Service Providers possessing the skills your gig requires are notified that you need help. They will quickly review your gig and submit bids to earn your business. You can converse with each of them about your project, submit additional details, ask questions, and then pick the one that you like best and accept their bid.
Rest assured your gig will be done correctly because payment for your gig is held safely in our GigStop.com escrow account. Service Pros will never ask for money upfront. They know they only get paid when you are satisfied with the work they did.
After your gig is completed, and when you are satisfied with the work performed by your Service Pro, simply release the payment from escrow using your GigStop.com account. It’s safe, secure, and easy. Best of all, every gig is backed by our GigStop Guarantee
What is the GigStop Guarantee?
Simply put, your gig is done correctly or you don’t pay.
Becoming an Employer is easy!
- Register for a free Employer account. It’s fast, easy, and only takes a few moments of your time. Please note, you can only have one type of account (i.e. Employer or Service Provider) registered to an email address. If you already have a GigStop Service Provider Account you will need to use a different email address to register as an Employer.
- Set up your Employer Profile.
- Start posting gigs and find the help you need.
What’s the catch?
Well, there really isn’t one. All we ask is that you describe your gig with as much detail as you can, posting pictures when appropriate, be reasonable about your budget if you have one, follow all of your state and local codes, rules, and regulations, communicate well with your Service Provider, and have reasonable expectations.
Does it cost anything?
Posting gigs is always free, so post as many as you would like. We do charge a small service fee when you accept a Service Provider’s bid. But you will always be able to review the total cost of the job, including the service fee, before accepting the bid. No risk or obligation, ever.
Anything else I should know?
Not really. You can review our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy if you’d like.
